ALPHA SEMENCES

There are several billion bacteria and several million fungi,  forty nematodes that coexist in one gram of soil under our feet. This is their average presence in healthy soil. Most of them are beneficial, a few are pathogenic. But all of them participate in what is called the life of the soil and play an essential role in fertility.

Today, agriculture must take great account of this soil life and orient it in the right directions. Intermediate crops, after having been a regulatory obligation, are now the essential basis for these agronomic developments. The choice of this intermediate crop must be reasoned according to the crops and the objectives sought: maintaining or even structuring the soil, capturing elements and atmospheric nitrogen, cleaning up pathogenic soil fungi, pathogenic nematodes, improving crop yields. next, use of intermediate cultivation to produce biogas, protection of fauna….
